Merseyway will also be hosting Activity Wednesdays each week at Merseybay, where children can enjoy a themed event on the beach from 12pm – 3pm.

Come on Barbie, let’s go PARTY! – Wednesday 2^nd August 2023

Get ready to party Barbie-style at Merseyway! Children of all ages can take part in fun Barbie-themed crafts and a doll trail from Merseyway to Redrock Stockport. Keep an eye out for photo opportunities, as there will be a selection of fun selfie spots located around the centre too!

AHOY there, pirates! –  Wednesday 9^th August 2023

Transform into a pirate on Wednesday 9^th August as Pirate Penny docks her ship for a day of mischief at Merseyway. From finding out your very own pirate name to designing pirate hats and eye patches, children will have lots of fun on the beach and will even be able to snap a photo of their new look at the pirate photo station. There’ll also be opportunities to win prizes in games of Spin to Win and Pirate Ring Toss.

Roarsome Dino Fun – 16^th August 2023

Things are getting roarsome on Wednseday 16^th August as dinosaurs take over the town centre! Featuring a giant animatronic T-Rex and raptor, Dino Babies, and a Dino Park, this is an event not to be missed at Merseyway this summer! Don’t forget to visit the outdoor beach too as there will be an opportunity to dig for dinosaur bones and fossils.

A Royal Affair: Prince & Princess Party – 23^rd August 2023

Bringing a magical affair to Stockport, come along to Merseyway dressed as your favourite prince or princess on Wednesday 23^rd August. Visitors will be able to spot and interact with their favourite fairy-tale characters whilst playing fun games on the beach.

Closing Party at the Beach – 30^th August 2023

Celebrating the end of the school summer holidays, Merseyway will be hosting a closing party at Merseybay, featuring fun beach giveaways and party games for kids.
