Following the success of her solo exhibition in November 2023, rising artist Anne Bardsley is
thrilled to announce her return to The Pop Up in Merseyway Shopping Centre, Stockport, with her
latest exhibition, “Wildlife Unleashed”. The exhibition will run from 21st to 27th October, offering
a unique opportunity to experience Anne’s captivating artwork.
Anne Bardsley’s work focuses on endangered animals, giving them a voice and promoting
conservation efforts. Her pieces are based on her own reference photos taken at several renowned
zoos, including Welsh Mountain Zoo, Blackpool Zoo, Chester Zoo, and Edinburgh Zoo. Each
artwork captures the essence of these magnificent creatures and highlights the urgent need for their
protection.
Anne has been exhibited in galleries and museums across the UK, including Manchester, London,
Leeds, Bury, Lancaster, and currently has work on display in Oldham art gallery. Additionally, she
has collaborated with charities to design and paint animal sculptures for various art trails, including
The Great Frogtastic Inventions Trail in Stockport, Waddle of Worcester, and March of the
Elephants in Lichfield.
“Wildlife Unleashed” promises to be an engaging and inspiring event. It offers art enthusiasts an
opportunity to explore Anne’s talent and passion. She looks forward to interacting with visitors,
answering questions about her work, and sharing stories behind each piece. Attendees may even
have the chance to observe her working on a new piece of art. This exhibition is open to all at no
